SUPREME STUDENT COUNCIL
The Student Supreme Council (SSC) of the Pinamalayan Maritime Foundation and Technological College, Inc. shall have the following objectives:
Train members for effective and efficient leadership
Help students develop self-confidence by providing an avenue to showcase their skills and talents
Promote unity among leaders and the student body
Serve and protect students’ rights and welfare
Represent the studentry in the policy-making body of the Institution in line with student welfare
- Ensure student participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
The Supreme Student Council (SSC) of the Pinamalayan Maritime Foundation and Technological College, Inc. shall serve and operate for the purpose/s of:
Student Governance - The Student Supreme Council (SSC) shall govern students, student leaders and all student organizations from Department organizations to student initiated groups including but not limited to clubs, societies or fraternities within the Institution, regardless of purpose, shall be controlled, maintained, and monitored by the SSC.
Student Services - The Student Supreme Council (SSC) shall operate in line with the Student Services Program offered by the Student Services Office acting as the Student Services Unit (SSU);
Student Relations
Information Dissemination
The Supreme Student Council (SSC) shall receive, release and prepare communication through postings within the school premises and other mediums of information dissemination (social media and info-cast).
Student Feedback
Student Services Performance Rating – shall measure the efficiency and effectivity of the SSC’s conduct and delivery of student services under this section.
Student Programs and Activities
Organize, Prepare and Implement Co-Curricular, Extra-Curricular Programs, Activities, Seminars and Trainings for the Students of PMFTCI.
Organize and implement: Intramurals/Sports Festival (Co-Curricular) and Institution’s Founding Anniversary (Extra-Curricular)
Initiate student participation in available seminars and trainings (Fire and earthquake drill, drug awareness).
THE COUNCIL ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
