With the implementation of the Republic Act 10533, otherwise known as Enhance Basic Education Act of 2013 (K-12 Law), the PMFTCI opened the Senior High School Department on June 2016. By means of the Government Permit No. 32, series of 2016 issued by the Department of Education, the Senior High School Department offered the following:

OBJECTIVES
The Senior High School Department of Pinamalayan Maritime Foundation and Technological College, Inc. aims to provide quality education with 21st –Century skills needed in the holistic development of lifelong learners and to prepare the students for tertiary education by:
hiring appropriate and qualified teachers of Senior High School Curriculum;
providing needed facilities for smooth implementation of the SHS Curriculum;
giving appropriate assessment to measure the learners’ development and to adjust instructions accordingly;
exposing the students with different curricular and co-curricular activities to enable them to transfer this successfully in future situations; and
facilitating development of learners’ higher-order thinking needed in tertiary education.
